Small blocks can be used as stamps, while larger pieces can create detailed works of original art. You cut away all parts of the image which you want to remain white, leaving the relief to pick up ink and spread your vision. In this class, you will learn how to transfer your drawing onto a linoleum block, carve your relief, and start printing. The cost of the class is $75 plus your materials. Sign up by calling the Allison Pederson at the Black Creek Arts Center (843.332.6234) by January 25.
