Burry Bookstore hosts "Silhouette Artist & Author Clay Rice" from 2:30-6:30pm, by appointment only. Each profile silhouette takes Clay about 1 minute and he estimates that in his 32 year career, he has cut over 900,000 silhouettes. Clay’s nationwide following has families flocking to have this talented artist create keepsake silhouettes and to have him sign copies of his award-winning children’s book, The Lonely Shadow.

Coker College Faculty/Guest Recital:  “An American Potpourri” – Watson Theater -7:30 pm. “An American Potpourri” is an eclectic program presented by Coker Music Professor Serena Hill-
                LaRoche and Guest Artists, Tabatha Easley (Virginia Commonwealth University) and Catherine Garner (East Carolina University), featuring works by David Diamond, Hilary Tann, Faye-Ellen Silverman, André Previn, and Henry Cowell among others.  This is an evening of American music not to be missed!
