Hartsville Downtown Development Association - Business Services
Design Committee - We can help you with any design need you might have. From sign design to facade improvements, or even menu layouts, we can help you reach your aesthetic goals. We can also help you attain the proper forms and permits as you navigate your way through the B1 Business District Design Codes. We represent your interests to the Design Review Board. Marketing/Promotions Committees - We plan several retail promotions events each year with the goal of helping your business attract customers. We can also help you with any individual event you are planning. We can also help you navigate your own personal marketing plan using social media, websites, and print media. Economic Development Committee - We can help you develop and/or revise your business plan and increase profitability for you and build a loyal customer base. We can connect you with financial institutions who can help you reach your business goals. Local Government Liaison - As a non-profit association, we represent the interests of the B1 business district in all local government meetings including City and County Councils, Planning Commission, Design Review Board, and Parking and Beautification. Gift Certificates - Let us drive you sales by selling Downtown Gift Certificates for you! Available year round from our office and from Burry Bookstore, these gift certificates make the perfect gift for anyone since they can use them at any of the 80+ HDDA Partner businesses. You simply take them at your business as cash, turn them back into HDDA, PO Box 238, Hartsville, SC29551 and we will reimburse you for the full amount. (*Must be a current partner with HDDA to be a part of this program. All other benefits are FREE to anyone in B1.) SC Small Business Administration Whether you're a start-up entrepreneur, an established business owner or just thinking about going into business, the SBA South Carolina District Office is here to help. Our staff can answer any questions you have about our programs and services. We are also happy to answer general business questions and refer you to the organization or agency that can best meet your needs. Feel free to give us a call or stop by. Our main office is open Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. No appointments are necessary for general inquiries. (Limited visitor parking is available behind the building.
