HDDA and the City of Hartsville are celebrating Oktoberfest on October 15, 2011 from 3 to 7pm. Bring your family, your friends, and your friends' families down to the 100 block of East College Ave to enjoy drinks, live music from The Lizardmen, and delicious, authentic German foods from the The Carolina Smoke Haus.

We'll have drinks for everyone, delicious bratwurst, BBQ, and pretzels made by Herr Ludwig Gross, an authentic Berliner--or German, at least--from The Carolina Smoke Haus. We're planning to have games like cornhole and possibly some feats of strength.

The Lizardmen will be providing hours of mostly non-polka musical entertainment. Many of our Downtown Partners along College Ave will be having Oktoberfest sales and specials.  Merchants include Lulu's Dress Boutique, Vintage Wine Boutique, Klick Shoe Boutique, Flair Accessory Boutique, and others.

Babysitting services will be available at The Play Zone from 5-7 and at the Hartsville Family YMCA.
